The courage to Rest, Resist and Reimagine
Life can feel overwhelming at times - whether through anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship struggles, or the weight of unresolved experiences. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, uncertain about their direction, or caught in patterns that no longer serve them. They are looking for a safe and supportive space to untangle what’s going on, make sense of their emotions, and find a way forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Counselling and psychotherapy is not about fixing or striving, it’s about creating space to listen to yourself, honor your experiences, and find a way forward that aligns with who you truly are. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, or deeper emotional struggles, therapy offers a space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood.

Individual Therapy
Sacred pauses for clarity, healing and renewal.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I weave together different approaches so our sessions can meet you where you are. Sometimes that means creating space to slow down and reflect, other times it’s offering practical tools to support change.
My work draws from:

-
Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) – placing you at the heart of the process, offering empathy, acceptance, and a safe space to explore at your pace.
-
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) – helping you notice strengths and resources, supporting small steps toward the changes you want to see.
-
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) – building a kinder relationship with yourself, especially if self-criticism or shame feels overwhelming.
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – offering practical tools to understand the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and to experiment with new ways of responding.
-
Polyvagal-Informed Therapy (PVT) – understanding how your nervous system responds to stress, and finding ways to feel safer and more grounded.

In our sessions, you can expect:

• A calm, non-judgmental space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out.
• A relational approach where our conversations will unfold organically, tailored to your needs and pace.
• Gentle exploration of thoughts, emotions, and patterns, helping you gain insight and clarity.
• Practical tools for self-compassion, grounding, and emotional resilience, without the pressure to “fix” yourself.

Therapeutic Coaching
One-off sessions for clarity and support.
Sometimes, you don’t need long-term therapy, you just need a dedicated space to process a challenge, decision, or emotional block. Therapeutic coaching is a focused, one-off session designed to help you:

• Gain clarity on a specific issue.
• Identify practical next steps.
• Feel heard and supported in a meaningful way.
These sessions are ideal if you’re navigating a moment of uncertainty and need a reflective space to process and move forward.

We’ll begin with a brief assessment to understand what’s brought you here, followed by a collaborative deep dive into your current situation. Rooted in a solution-focused approach, the session will offer practical strategies and coping tools, along with relevant signposting to support your next move emotionally, mentally, or spiritually.

Whether you’re facing a difficult decision, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or simply stuck in a pattern you can’t shift, this session is designed to help you find your next step.

FAQs
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long and are currently delivered online via zoom, or on the telephone should you prefer.
How often should I have therapy?
This depends on your needs. Weekly or fortnightly sessions are common, but we can discuss a rhythm that works for you.
Is therapy right for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of a space to process your experiences, therapy can be a valuable support. I believe in the potential of the therapeutic relationship to bring lasting change through safety, honesty, and connection. I offer an initial 15 minute consultation free of charge as an opportunity to explore how we will work together. You will also have the chance to talk about the circumstances that bring you to counselling and your hopes and expectations. At this point there is no commitment and you can take time to think about continuing with counselling.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to begin.
