About Monique

I am an integrative psychotherapist, author, speaker and singer with a deep passion for walking alongside people and helping them to navigate life's challenges - whether in the spotlight of performance and public life, or in the quieter, unseen pressures of family, work, and daily living. My approach is collaborative and client-led, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet you where you are and support the change you’re seeking.

I also work strategically with organisations seeking evidence based solutions that support wellbeing and sustainable growth. Head to my consultancy page for more information.

My experience in music as a singer/songwriter, along with almost 20 years of working to develop people in education, criminal justice and faith communities, inform my practice. Equally, my own personal life experiences as a black woman, mother and wife have shaped my work.

I believe that healing and growth begin with rest, not just physical rest, but the kind that allows for repair, emotional integration, and a renewed capacity to engage with life. Our work together will move at a pace that feels right for you, whether that means exploring deeper patterns or focusing on immediate coping strategies.

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and regularly attend clinical supervision. I hold a Masters in Theology and Transformative Practice, a PGDip in Psychotherapy and Counselling, a PGDip in Education and am currently completing an Msc in the Psychology of Mental Health.

If you’d like to explore working together, I’d love to hear from you.
